Foundation classes are a good entry point for students new to yoga, or new to Iyengar yoga. They are also good for students who want to revisit the fundamentals, or returning to yoga after a break. In these classes students learn foundational standing poses, seated poses and forward extensions, and shoulderstand (the first of the inversions). Courses introduce the poses in a structured and systemmatic way that best supports learning.
This 6 week course runs each Sunday, 2-3.15pm, from 25 August to 29 September. Four of the classes will be taught by Simone Ellis and two will be taught by Peta Keaney.
Enrolment in a Foundation Course is via the relevant Foundation Course pass (4, 6 or 8 weeks). These passes are priced at a lower price per class than casual attendance. Your enrolment is for the full 6 weeks. There are no refunds once the course has started. Participants can make up for one (1) only missed class during the 6 week period. This make up is possible at any Level1/2 Foundation/General class on the timetable.
A minimum of 5 students is required for this course to go ahead.
